2016 has been an incredible year for the Sustainable Salons Australia team, and it's only half over! So far this year, we've seen our team move & expand, we've attended awards shows (and won!), SSA has expanded our service area (twice), and we have worked hard to spread our mission of Zero Waste through some incredible local organisations like Rough Threads & The Australian Hairdressing Council. The 2016 Hairdressing Industry awards season sure has been kind to us- we couldn't be more grateful! The excitement for us started in March at the Australian Hair Industry Awards where we were thrilled to be awarded “Business Service of the Year’.
Add to the excitement: the moving of our offices to Sydney, the addition of exciting new eco-friendly products to our rewards shop.

his year has also seen the expansion of our team (warm welcome to Jenae & Krystina!) & expanding our salon pickup services to Victoria and Queensland, servicing a new group of salons in this area. 
The greatness kept on going as we were just awarded “Business Performance of the Year’ at the 2016 Hair Expo Awards in Melbourne this June.
We'd like to send out our hugest thank you to all of our member salons, and everyone who believes in the zero waste mission- without you, none of this this would be possible!
